Leo Heijne

Lecturer-researcher

About

Leo's research focuses on renewable energy: the non-technical aspects as social-psychology, law, economics. Social acceptance is a growing problem in becoming a more sustainable society. Leo contributed towards studies which analyse the social acceptance of biodigesters and the possibilites of storage of "wind"-electricity into ammonia. Leo thinks that the energy transition needs a more bottom-up approach to become more successful.
